Melissa Denish: US MD/Do Application Editor and Interview Specialist

Academic History:

Hello! My name is Melissa Denish, and I am a graduate of Elon University. I achieved a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in June 2022 with a GPA of 3.87. Since graduating, I directly entered medical school at Thomas Jefferson University (Sidney Kimmel Medical College). I am currently in my third year and scheduled to graduate in 2026. I have experience editing primary and secondary applications, as well as performing mock interviews for medical school applicants. I am passionate about writing and improving applicants’ essays and interview techniques.

I applied to medical school during my senior year of college, where I had an incredibly successful cycle. I applied to mostly MD programs and a few DO programs, and thus I have experience with both the AMCAS and AACOMAS applications. After applying to 22 MD programs and 3 DO programs, I received interview invitations for 8 MD programs and 3 DO programs, receiving acceptance to a total of 6 schools with 3 waitlists. I am currently at Thomas Jefferson University, where I also have served as an interviewer for real medical school applicants.

Claire Zhang: Canadian Application Editor and Interview Specialist

Academic History

I am Claire Zhang, and I graduated in 2023 from McGill University with a major in Microbiology and Immunology. I’ll be entering my second year at the University of Toronto MD Program. I received interview invitations from 4 Canadian medical schools, was accepted into 3, and waitlisted at 1. As someone who was a re-applicant, I understand how much time, energy, and care needs to go into the application process. I’ve helped multiple applicants with editing essays, OMSAS, and UBC OAS entries to ensure their best qualities shine. I’ve also prepared applicants for MMI/panel interviews, helping them feel comfortable and confident before the big day. I’m looking forward to working with you during this exciting journey.
